We all have...stuff. For the purposes of The Library, we'll narrow that down to books. I would be willing to bet, that if you were to poll 100 men in our community of faith, you could find one book that MOST of them have, and have only read once. The idea behind The Library is to provide a way for us to be better stewards of the financial resources God has entrusted us with, and to follow the example of the early disciples, and share. It is such a basic, elementary concept, yet for some reason it so easily eludes us.
So here's how it works. In the side bar to the left, you will notice a list. This list is comprised of books belonging to men in our local area that recognize the value of the type of community closeness demonstrated by the early believers in Acts. As such, they have agreed to loan them out to another Christian brother, so that he doesn't have to expend resources unnecessarily. You'll borrow the book for 30 days, and then return it. Simple as that. We only ask that you keep in mind that the book does not belong to you and that you treat it accordingly. Please take notes in a separate notebook, and return it as soon as you are finished with it. The success of The Library depends on your adherence to these simple rules. So please, have a look around and see if anything catches your eye.
