Valiant Men Ministries is a self-supporting non-profit ministry. Our mission statement is simple and clear; Men Helping Men Grow Closer To Christ. The seed was planted here in Simi Valley only a few short years ago, in the hearts of a few men who felt a burning inside them to answer a call that far too often falls on deaf ears. The problem was very simple: Without a thriving, active, Gospel backed Men's Ministry, the children and wives in our community were expected to be led by men who, far too often, had nowhere to turn and no one to talk to when they came under attack. The collateral damage of a deficiency like this would be devastating if ignored. Without men actively involved in small accountability groups, where they could grow and learn together, the opportunity for Satan to get a foothold in our families and begin to break them apart was too good for him to ignore. The unfortunate reality is that, sure, our children attended Sunday school every week, but then what? Their lives outside of Sunday school, and in the absence of a strong, God fearing Christian Father to be an example, were becoming easy prey to the immensely powerful erosive force of the moral relativity that is rampant in today's society. To Valiant Men Ministries, the solution is simple.... battle for, take back, and build up Christian Men.
Initially, our reach was limited to those whom we dealt with on a face to face level. Word began to travel, and soon other churches throughout the local community began to see what God was doing here. However, Simi Valley is but one small town in a world filled with hate, and anger, and fear, and disbelief. And so our mission is not static. There is no number we are trying to reach and then we're done. Jesus has commanded us, ALL of us, to go into THE ENTIRE world.
By the grace of God alone, we have been able to host a successful charity car show for the past 4 years. We have held our annual men's conference for 3 years. We have had our Warrior Wednesday Events every 6 weeks for the past two years. In our local community alone we have made our presence known and planted a seed in the lives of thousands of men. Men have actively been attending small groups for over two years as a result of our No Man Left Behind Conferences.
